I have 5 domains deleted that I need to purge, but so far every time I’ve started the purge, Surgemail crashes. Is it just as effective for me to delete those directories manually and then remove the folder paths from purge.dat? Or is there
anything else the “Purge” procedure does?
Thanks,
Brad May

Subject: Re: [SurgeMail List] Domain Delete Interrupted
To re-run the deletion I would add it back into surgemail.ini manually, then delete it again.
You only need to add the vdomain line, and mailbox_path lines, the rest of the settings don't matter for this purpose.
If that still fails, then I would be inclined to just delete (or rename) the mailbox_path for that domain which is all that really needs to be done.

I tried deleting a domain from the :7026 admin interface, and something happened and it seems the process was interrupted. I still see the domain folders in the file system, but the domain does not show up in the Domains list in the admin
interface. This was done last week, and I still see the mail data, so it doesn’t look like anything is running in the background.

Is there a tellmail command I can run to make sure all the same steps are taken as with a normal domain delete? Or what is the best way to handle this?
Thanks!
