The above is from a message that has been in queue over 60 hrs, btw.
My system is set to retry for 72 hrs. So I should never hit 100
hrs.

Pretty sure the 13 minutes is accurate for the age. It definitely
had been sent recently — a matter of minutes not hours.

How long is your surgemail set to retry messages? Not sure
if the hour counter rolls over at 60 hrs(which is less than
72 hrs or 3 days) or if it rolls over at 100 hrs? It
depends on how they do the math inside Surgemail.
I don't have any messages close to 72 hrs right now. I
keep trying for 72 hrs. I have one message sitting at 52
hrs 38 mins so tomorrow at this time, we will know if it
rolls at 60 or not.
Looking at the message you will see when it was sent.

Thanks, Lyle. That’s the way I interpreted it. So then how
can the message have been in the queue for 13 minutes (age)
but the last try was 57 minutes ago (last try)? :-)
Sent from my iPhone
Hours:Minutes:Seconds
Age = how long the message has been in the Queue
Last-Try = how long since last try to send
Next-Try = how long until next try to send
The numbers are not clock time, but elasped time
since or until.

Hi all,
Can I please get a bit of clarification about what the
"Age" and "Last-Try" columns mean on the mail queue
screen? I keep seeing things like the second line
here, which don't make sense to me... Since the values
appear to be time intervals, how is the "last try"
prior to the "age"? :-)

Thanks!
