This is the configuration window that usually sits in the
background(minimized). The green arrow (left side) turns clockwise, indicating when
the next mail check will occur, the mail check occurs when the arrow is pointing up, or
when you click on "Check now!". |
|
This window appears when there is new mail. The picture of the
planet rotates and bounces in the black box.Clicking on the Moderate Now Button brings up
the window with the email. (see below) |
|
With this window, you can return, send(approve), delete and ignore
the messages. The window usually provides much more area of viewed text. You can resize
the window. |
|
This window is used to return an inappropiate message to the person
who send it. You have six preset standard responses. (you click on the save button to save
a response) The window usually provides much more area of viewed text. You can resize the
window. |
 |
This window provides additional functionality and configuration
to the program.
If you want DMOD to let you know when email from a particular person(or newsgroup)
arrives, you can put their name (or group name) into the rules. If you are only
interested in knowing if there are new emails, you can click on the "Ignore
rules" and then "Number of email". With these options selected,
the time taken to perform a check is very small.
You need to enter the appropiate deails for automatic Approval in this
window.
If you are approving an email list you need to enter the email address that
the list recieves approved emails from. |
