Sorry, we messed up and ran an old version of the software, then the web server killed the sending process, then we restarted it using the new version which deals with restarts correctly, however it wasn't totally compatible with the old version and it restarted at the beginning. The result being some people got two coppies, this won't happen in future :-)
Sorry we would rather not give more details and make life too easy for hackers. In theory if a fault was exploited the user could do anything within the bounds of the usercode that you use for CGI scripts, on unix this is typically the 'nobody' user and on NT it depends on the web server but this account should in theory be limited enough to prevent any real damage being done.
No, the upgrade is free, you will not need a new KEY, your existing one will work.
Usually you don't have to upgrade the templates, and it's probably worth a try to just upgrade the cgi binary, but of course this won't give you some of the new features!. Consult the individual product web pages above to be certain.
