Subject:
[SurgeMail List] System Administrator password change
From:
Eric Vey
Date:

Hello,
Goal is to change the password of the system administrator.
The instructions say to add a system administrator use "surgemail -password" from a terminal/DOS/Command screen, but all I get is "surgemail command not recognized" or somesuch from those both locally and remotely.
Then it says to delete a system administrator to edit the admin.dat file, which is there, but the password is hashed and is not editable.
Nothing available on the HTML admin pages.
So what's the secret handshake?
