That is tricky, however, that particular limit is not particularly important for 'anything' except very very rare DOS attacks (or broken email clients) so in that situation I would just increase/remove the perip limit globally.

Can I use a FQDN on g_con_perip_except?

I have an IP that changes from time to time, but I have DDNS, so the domain is constantly updated.

Otherwise I have to change the IP setting in  g_con_perip_except all the time.
