Not support, but two thoughts. 1) Why do you need to, or want to do that? 2) Traditionally /var is exactly where those types of files go. /home is traditionally where individual user files and programs go. If you’ve got a space issue on /var you should consider repartitioning if only because most other unix admins would expect those files to be on /var not /home. Permissions could become messy too.
