SurgeFTP was designed
to give the maximum performance from your hardware with minimum impact.
It is fully threaded and very efficient so that even with hundreds of
concurrent users there is very little impact on your system.
Below are figures
from a test system. In summary, with relatively modest hardware the network
card was the limiting factor.
